Our private money loan program is designed for a responsive quick closing. We have an efficient straight forward underwriting process with an emphasis on borrower and property equity. Our loans are useful for timely close scenarios, self-employed borrowers or properties that are temporarily underperforming. The funds can be used for purchases or refinancing. All of our loans are secured by real property.

Our construction loan program is innovative. Our goal is to help you achieve your investment objectives in a fast, cost-effective manner, while minimizing risk. Kezar Capital will fund a loan that is up to 75% of appraised value of the finished project and we prefer 1st lien position loans. Our construction loans are designed for 2 distinct products: Spec loan to a builder or construction to permanent loan to a homeowner (who is not occupying their property).
BRIDGE LOANS
Bridge loans are short-term interim financing solutions. Typically bridge loans are used until a permanent form of financing can be obtained. Many of our borrowers use a bridge loan to purchase a property that will be held in a rental portfolio or they wish to occupy the home after repairing and refinancing.

Jonathan Kahn is the Founder and President of Kezar Capital Inc. Jonathan is a third generation San Franciscan and has been involved in the real estate industry with a particular focus on private lending and multi-family/mobile home park investing. Previously, Jonathan spent 20 years in the financial services industry. He started his career at Montgomery Securities in San Francisco and thereafter co-founded Seasons Capital Management and First Oak Capital. Jonathan served as head of trading, business development, and was an integral part of both firm’s investment and management committees. Jonathan graduated from the University of Oregon in 1994 with a B.S. in Finance and Management. Jonathan is an active member of Temple Emanu-El, an avid swimmer with the Dolphin Club in San Francisco, and a former member of the Concordia Argonaut Club. When not working, Jonathan enjoys time with his family and the local live music scene. He also volunteer teaches “Financial Literacy” in a number of Bay Area high schools.
